About the Tour

About the TourThe Twin Cities Ponds and Landscape Tour is a self-guided tour showcasing the area's most spectacular residential landscapes and water gardens. Brought to you by Hedberg Landscape & Masonry Supplies and the Minnesota Water Garden Society (MWGS), the Twin Cities Ponds and Landscape Tour takes place the last two weekends in July. In lieu of admission tickets, free will donations are encouraged and may be made via this website or at the tour sites. The event benefits Children's Cancer Research Fund and MWGS. Formerly called the Twin Cities Parade of Ponds, the tour features water gardens with cascading waterfalls, meandering streams, swimmable ponds, and a variety of aquatic plants and fish, as well as stunning landscapes with putting greens, outdoor kitchens, stone fireplaces, multi-level patios, floral delights and the hottest new trends in landscaping.

Properties located on the north side of 394/94 are featured on the first weekend of the tour and homes located on the south half are featured on the second weekend. Attendees may visit the showcased properties between 10 AM until 5 PM. To add magic that only low-wattage outdoor lighting can provide, select properties are open for nightscape viewing on Saturday evening from 9:00 - 11:00 pm. These nightscape sites are designated in the online, printable tour guidebook.

The tour guidebook will include a description of each property along with driving directions and pictures.
